Alright I've seen tons of those pages (hosted mostly on free hosts such as geocities or whatever) that basically spam google. Does this really work? To do this does one just have to set several different pages up that link to his/her site and contain anchor text in the link? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Actually, you've brought up an interesting topic. I would also be curious to hear the real expert's advice on this.

I heard taht Google is trying to filter the spamming technique of traffic redirection, but the recent changes made Google a little less accurate. Many legitimate businesses say that they were hurt by changes. Before they were ranked high for certain keywords and now they lost those positions.
