Hello,
I currently own an online forum <LINK REMOVED. Advertising not allowed> and really suprised me that in one day we got 200 Posts and 15 Members :). Any ideas on how I can make it as good as coderforums? Any techniques are involved? Please explain.
Thanks

Hi, well, any forum is a lot of work. No.. make it any forum is a lot a lot a lot and a lot of work. CoderForums.com has been online for quite some time, it has build up a great membership base, a place where people talk about the "subject".
The secret is to have a well-established forum that does not go too far away from the main topic and has knowledgable members. What you can do (most forums do that) is to offer an incentive program or prizes, which most of the time work just fine.
Starting a forum is the most difficult part. Then, when you have your first 200 members or 300 members, and if the activity keeps up, more people will come.
Best,
Scott

In addition, having moderators who get involved with ths community is essential. Having started a few forums in the past I found seeding threads to stimulate growth really helps in the beginning.
Don't give up!
