Is anyone here using Google AdSense affiliate program (seems like everyone is switching to it nowadays). How has your experience been so far?
AdSense has been too kind to me.
Initially I did not change/customize the look of ads delivery banner and yet the first month of usage my web site made 9 times (!) more compared to my best month with any banner network I've been a member of!
If your web site is properly optimized and is full of relative content, then Google will have no trouble displaying their links.
Mostly I use Google ads as a back up when my site's ad space goes unsold, it fills in those gaps successfully.
I have created, however, customized layouts of their ads to look according with my sites' designs and, unlike other webmasters, I cannot say the click-through-rate increased dramatically because of that. I still have about the same CTR with AdSense.
How about you - have you used a customized look and if yes, have you noticed any change?
